Privacy Policy

Updated October 12, 2026

This page explains what data avto.elmix.uz collects, why it's needed, and how it and the third-party services it uses handle it.

1. What data we collect

When you sign in via the Telegram bot: your phone number, your Telegram ID, username, and chosen interface language.

When you post a listing: the car's make, model, and other attributes, photos, price, region, and contact details for reaching you.

Automatically when you visit the site: your IP address, device and browser type, which pages you viewed, and where you came from.

2. Why we need this data

To show your listings in the catalog, connect buyers with sellers, send notifications to the Telegram bot (new replies, price changes, a listing expiring), moderate listings, and improve the site based on visit statistics.

We don't sell your personal data to third parties and don't share it with anyone except as described in this policy.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses a small number of cookies:

"cur" — which currency you chose for displaying prices (sum or USD), kept for a year.
"auth_secret_*" — a temporary technical file used during Telegram bot sign-in, lives a few minutes and is deleted after you sign in.
The session cookie — Laravel's standard technical cookie (CSRF protection, authentication).

Separately, your browser stores on your device (not on our server, not in a cookie) your comparison list, the catalog view you picked (list or grid), and a draft of the listing form — this is a convenience local to your browser only.

4. Analytics

To understand how people use the site, we use Yandex.Metrica — it analyzes visits and clicks and may record anonymized browsing sessions (webvisor) so we can see where users run into trouble. Yandex processes this data under its own privacy policy.

5. Who we share data with

Payme, the payment provider — only the data needed to process payment for listing promotion.
Telegram — to send you notifications via the bot.
Yandex.Metrica — anonymized behavioral data about the site (section 4).

We don't share your data with ad networks and don't sell it to third parties.

6. Data retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account exists or a listing is active, plus a reasonable period for archiving and abuse prevention. You can request deletion of your account and its data via our support bot @elmixuzbot or at support@elmix.uz — we will delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy — for example, when connecting a new analytics or payment service. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

8. Contact

For questions about personal data processing, message @elmixuzbot or email support@elmix.uz.
